We want to take a moment to acknowledge Chrissy Welgan, Certified CLM Coach, and Amanda Lambert for the award that was given to them at the VCU Communities of Learning in Autism (CoLAs) 2014 Conference. VCU held a poster session as a competition, and Chrissy and Amanda’s were selected as the winners!
The award was given for “Excellence in Impact and Innovation in Programming for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Division wide Project Category.”
We feel very proud of the Clarke County CLM Team for their great implementation of the CLM Program. Therefore, we decided to share the honor they received with all of you. As Autumn Kaufman, Certified CLM Coach at the Regional Program Coordinator Commonwealth Autism Service said, this are “VERY BIG NEWS FOR CLM IN VA!!!!!
We were informed that the news will also be featured on the VDOE website and that CAS will also be posting the actual PowerPoint presentation of the awarded poster. There you will be able to review the data that motivated this amazing award.
