Hi All! I wanted to let you know of a nonprofit GPS tracking company, Project Lifesaver, that uses non removable anklets to track individuals with special needs who have the tendency to wander and may not be able to communicate personal information. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department is currently an agency provider according to the website, and the Morgan Hill Sheriff’s Department has shown interest to participate in the program as well. It was used widely in Indiana and was vital in locating several clients during my time there. Feel free to pass this information along, I wasn’t sure who would be interested in the information.
