I was officially hired at Tucci Learning Solutions in late December of 2022. Tucci Learning Solutions is the career blessing I had been searching for. I have a strong desire to help others and make a positive impact in the world whether on a larger scale or small in the community I live in. Prior to TUCCi I attended school to obtain a medical degree as I have a huge passion for science, psychology and medicine, however, I realized during my studies that becoming a biochemist did not feel right and so I changed direction and began work as a Marketing Director for a local magazine. During this time I kept feeling like I had a purpose for something more, but I didn’t yet know what it was. I first met a TUCCi employee through church. She suggested I contact them when she learned I was seeking a new career. I’m so thankful for her.
That conversation led me to my true passion. I know without a doubt that the field of ABA and working with kids and families is where I belong. I have never felt so certain about a career in my entire life. Some of that certainty is the career itself, but a great portion of it is the team members and TUCCi as a company. I was welcomed to TUCCi with open arms. The staff is amazing and I have many wonderful mentors. As I stated earlier, I have not been here long, however I am proud of so much already. I am currently working towards becoming an RBT thanks to the positive and welcomed support from several BCBA’s that I have had the pleasure of working with. Without them, I don’t think I would have the confidence that I do now to pursue a career in the field of ABA. I have to give a huge shout out to Stephen Watson, BCBA, Amanda Swift, BCBA and Li-Yu Chen, BCBA-D for their unwavering support of me. What I love most about this career is the impact I am having on the young learners I work with. It brings me joy when I see them accomplishing big goals that they may not have been able to do without the services we provide. I am their biggest cheerleader and love to watch them grow and succeed in all that they are currently doing. I have also loved learning how ABA works while providing a fun learning environment for each unique learner. It feels amazing to feel a sense of purpose and I cannot see myself doing anything else. Thank you team TUCCI for always being supportive, helping me to grow, being team players, mentors, and giving me new concepts and knowledge. I appreciate each and every one of you!
