The objective of this conference was to provide families with educational, medical and legal information on services and the rights of their children with different capacities. This was a Spanish conference for parents who live in the South of the Monterey County, California. It took place last Saturday, November 12th, 2016. Overall we can say that it was a great conference and our CLM Team Members were glad to be part of this event this third year.
Special thanks to Cynthia Valency and Nancy Kelley for their help and support on putting together our workshop presentation for this conference. The title of their presentation was Jugar, Aprender y Lograr – Play, Learn, and Achieve and the main purpose was to teach parents and participants about a “playful approach and useful tools to create learning opportunities to achieve building successful skills”, in other words, “to demonstrate how to make learning fun for all involved”.
Now, we would like to share some of the pictures that were taken during this event. Enjoy!
