A New BCBA in the Monterey Region
Tucci Learning Solutions is excited to announce the much-anticipated arrival of Amber Clayton, BCBA. Amber’s move to California from Germany was delayed due to the pandemic. She is finally here and has already connected with a number of her TUCCi colleagues.
Amber is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and life-long learner and teacher. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees and certification in Texas. She received an MA in Special Education with an emphasis on Autism & Early Intervention; a Bachelor of Science Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Majoring in Special Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Amber’s experience in education includes PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities), self-contained Emotional and Behavior Disorder classroom, resource classroom settings, and a District Coordinator for Autism & Behavior in Copperas Cove, Texas.
As a BCBA, she has a variety of experiences working in Texas and abroad. Prior to working with TUCCi, Amber lived in Germany where she opened one of the first ABA practices in Bavaria. While in Germany Amber provided education, training, supervision, and ABA therapy to military families as well as families from the UK and in the Czech Republic.
In her free time, Amber enjoys international travel and any activities that are outdoors; especially if they can include her 3 dogs, Huck, Rocky, and Val. Additionally, she enjoys several “professional hobbies” which include her work in the development and founding of Behavior Analysts in Military Families – a network of resources, mentorship, training, addressing social justice issues through ABA, and ongoing research for employees in the field of ABA who are impacted by the military lifestyle.
